Beautiful, signed and dated tanto with a scabbard covered in textured red and black lacquer
Blade of the U-no-kubi-zukuri type (shaped like a crane’s neck), dated and signed but difficult to read: Bizen no Kuni Osafune ju, Eisho shichinen nigatsu (February in the 7th year of Eisho, 1510) with the help of M. SESKO. The signature, however, remains subject to formal identification.
nagasa 253 mm zori 6 mm, motohaba 24 mm, hamon in suguha, jigane in masame, boshi type Ko maru, habaki in copper covered with shakudo
the scabbard needs to be repaired, one mekugi is missing
