Louis Couperus - Eline Vere (5de druk) - 1904

A beautiful copy of Couperus' most famous novel, which instantly made him famous.
This fifth edition was published in September 1904, the cover design with symmetrical line work and floral motifs, is by the artist L.W.R. Wenkebach (1860-1937).

The book is in decent condition, here and there a fray or small tear, but still a good and solid copy, the paper is of course old but neat. No stamps, names, stickers or scribbling.
