Projectionist and artist, I work with original 35mm film stock in Pop works using a technique I call analog pixel art, where each 35mm cell is akin to a pixel in order to recover light in this digital and dematerialized world.
The "Pixel Project" series, a collaboration between analog and digital, involves a digital pixelation process at 35x19 mm to accommodate real 35mm cells in order to pay homage to the film they contain and to the medium itself.
