Bruno Retaux (1947) - Bled au Maroc

Oil on Masonite panel measuring 27 x 35 cm, signed bottom right, B Retaux, and bearing on the back the studio stamp as well as an inventory number. It depicts, as is often the case with orientalists, a view of Morocco. The artist is well regarded and a friend of André Hambourg and Maurice Boitel, two laureates of the Ab El Tif prize for oriental painting in Algiers. Sold in a modern frame.
