Beautiful oil on panel measuring 21.7 x 27 cm, signed bottom left B. Retaux, a French Orientalist painter, friend of Maurice Boitel and André Hambourg, two Orientalist painters (among others). Bearing the workshop seal as well as an order number on the back.
It represents, as is often the case with well-known Orientalist painters, a view of Morocco towards Marrakech.
Sold in a modern frame by the painter's daughter, thus authenticity guaranteed.
