Description from the seller
This piece is a vintage or eclectic-style table lamp, characterized by a unique combination of textures and materials inspired by Asian aesthetics and mid-century design.
Apart from the restored mast, new Art Deco-inspired pieces. It only needs the cable to be inserted.
The face printed on the bamboo screen corresponds to a detail from one of the world's most famous paintings: The Kiss (originally titled in German Der Kuss), by the renowned Austrian painter Gustav Klimt.
Bamboo-printed shade: The cylindrical or drum-shaped shade is made with thin vertical slats of natural bamboo.
Old wooden base with a Solomonic column: The base’s shaft features a turned spiral or helicoidal design (Solomonic column style), lacquered in a dark green or deep carriage green.
Metal details: It incorporates a socket and an aged brass neck with a classic rotary switch, a feature very common in retro and mid-century lighting.
