Facing a wall composed of dark geometric shapes, a dancer rises on pointe in a posture of absolute precision. The contrast between architectural rigidity and the body's suppleness creates a fascinating visual tension. I enjoy bringing together two worlds that seem incompatible.
Geometry evokes rigor, rules and mechanical perfection. Dance, on the other hand, represents emotion, breath, and freedom. By uniting these two worlds, I wanted to show that beauty appears precisely where opposites meet.
This work speaks of balance, discipline and elegance.
