Lasveguix not only paints, he tears, overlays, reconstructs. His creations are wall skins, fragments of urbanity where posters mingle with graffiti, where acrylic speaks with spray paint and Posca. Each work is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Initiated into graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he feeds his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture, one hears the echoes of the great names who marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for torn poster art, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss.Tic for the poetry of words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for urban pixel, Obey for the engaged icon.
Active on the street art scene for over twenty years, Lasveguix has managed to impose a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he translates this street heritage into the studio, creating works where movement, time and collective memory freeze without ever fading.
Recognized for his uniqueness, he regularly participates in charitable galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire or SOS Préma. His creations reach record sums there, confirming a singular place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix advocates for accessible, free and vibrant art, where each torn piece tells a love story and positivity.
