The art series “TRACE” celebrates the beauty of imperfection in the spirit of Wabi-Sabi, blending graphic precision with intuitive freedom. On unprimed, raw cotton, the brushstrokes leave their marks—deliberately not perfectly straight, with frayed edges and without precise edges. You can see and feel the natural fiber and the weave of the fabric, giving the works an honest, organic materiality. From this interplay of restrained, monochrome clarity and movement, a harmonious balance of order and dynamism emerges. The images manage to radiate a deep visual calm while simultaneously introducing a subtle, atmospheric tension into the room.
