Vincenzo Raimondo Frammenti #5, original acrylic painting on canvas in multicolour, 70 × 44 cm, hand-signed, 2026, a portrait in an expressionist style, in good condition.
Description from the seller
2 Paintings 44×70 cm
Two beauties broken and reassembled, two iconic faces filtered through the artist’s gaze.
In these fragments there is not only homage, but reinterpretation: tense lines, heated lips, suspended gazes and colors that seem to hold memory, strength and fragility.
Small modern divinities, imperfect enough to seem alive.
***
The series “Fragments” explores the emotional force of the human face through intense, fragmented, deeply contemporary compositions. The eyes, lips and facial details emerge between swift lines, overlaps and instinctive brushstrokes, creating images suspended between elegance and unease.
Each work captures a different emotion without openly telling it: the viewer is drawn in by the gaze, yet left free to interpret its meaning. The faces are never fully defined, almost dissolving among hair, marks and movement, transforming the portrait into a more emotional than realistic perception.
The delicate hues of the backgrounds contrast with the bold black of the graphic lines and with the strong presence of lips and eyes, elements that become the visual center of the piece. A series with a strong aesthetic impact, able to fuse sensuality, mystery and modernity in a style that is instantly recognizable.
Here there is no perfectly catalogued, patinated portrait. There is the elegant chaos of human identity, hidden behind a gaze that seems to appear and disappear in the same instant.
***Disclaimer***
Each work arises from the meeting of artistic expression and artisan craftsmanship.
The painting represents the main creative element, while the support (canvas and materials) is an integral part of a careful and aware production process.
The canvases used are selected with particular attention to quality and, where possible, environmental sustainability, preferring recycled materials or those with low impact. In some cases, the supports may be made or finished by hand, even through the re-use of materials.
Any slight imperfections of the support should not be considered defects, but testimonies of the manual process and the artisanal nature of the product. Such characteristics do not compromise the artistic value or integrity of the work in any way, but rather reinforce its uniqueness.
Each painting is therefore to be understood as a unique piece, the result of a process that combines creativity, manual skill and responsible attention to materials.
