Cyril Pienon, a prize-winning French artist, featured in galleries (Colmar, Montbéliard, Pont Aven etc…) and gallery networks such as Carré d’artistes (successively in galleries in Aix en Provence, Bordeaux, Brest, St Etienne, Dijon, Grenoble etc…) Also visible at art fairs such as ART3F or Maison et Objet in Paris.
Award-winning artist in several competitions. Among other honors, winner of the public prize at the Pacé Arts Fair and at Thorigné Fouillard.
Born in 1976 in Burgundy and shaped by overseas stays during his childhood, he has lived for many years near Rennes in Brittany.
Self-taught artist, he creates vibrant acrylic paintings with strong color, movement, and contrasts in a musical sense. The overseas stays during his childhood are not unrelated to this desire to play with colors and contrasts. Music fuels his inspiration; it acts as a catalyst.
Acrylic, applied with brush and knife, is a technique that suits him as it allows him to express himself fully. He also uses impasto techniques to add volume and relief to his paintings. He likes to suggest while allowing each viewer to let their imagination speak.
