Antique chain-mail bags (also known as mesh purses). Period: 1890–1920. The large bag measures 16 cm by 17 cm. (No chain). The smaller one is 13 cm by 15 cm. An antique mesh purse served from the late 19th century through the 1920s primarily as a luxury and fashionable evening bag for wealthy ladies. They were used to carry small personal belongings and necessities during formal occasions, dinners, or theatre visits. Carefully packed and insured for shipping.

Antieke maliënkolder tasjes (ook bekend als mesh purse ). Periode; 1890 - 1920.  Het grote tasje is 16 cm x 17cm. (Zonder ketting). De kleinere is 13 cm x 15 cm. Een antieke mesh purse diende vanaf de late 19e eeuw tot de jaren 1920 primair als een luxe en modieuze avondtas voor welgestelde dames. Ze werden gebruikt om kleine persoonlijke bezittingen en noodzakelijkheden in mee te dragen tijdens formele gelegenheden, diners of theaterbezoeken. Wordt zorgvuldig verpakt, en verzekerd verzonden.
