Carrelage Basquiat x Warhol, an original mixed‑media artwork signed by hand, 40 × 30 cm with a frame, created in France in 2026 and sold directly by the artist in original edition, in excellent condition and weighing 2 kg.
Description from the seller
Original artwork: posters on tile, on a black hardboard canvas background, in a 3D black display frame 40x30 cm.
Hommage à l'exposition à la Fondation Louis Vuitton de Basquiat et Warhol.
Unique artwork, straight from the studio. Secure and fast shipping.
Lasveguix does not just paint; he tears, overlaps, reconstructs. His creations are skins of walls, fragments of urbanity where posters mingle with graffiti, where acrylic speaks with spray paint and Posca markers. Each work is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Initiated into graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he nourishes his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture you can hear the echo of the great names that marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for the torn poster art, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for the poetry of words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for stencil, Invader for urban pixel, Obey for engaged icon.
Active for over twenty years in the street art scene, Lasveguix has forged a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he transposes this street heritage to the studio, creating works where movement, time and collective memory are frozen without ever fading.
Recognized for his uniqueness, he regularly participates in charitable galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire or SOS Préma. His works reach record prices there, confirming a distinctive place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix advocates accessible, free, and vibrant art, where every torn piece tells a story of love and positivity.
