Mila Veljaca – Im Auflösen, original oil painting, 30 × 50 cm, 2018, with pink, red and blue tones, signed and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
in the process of dissolving
30 x 50 cm
The body stands, but the edges give way.
Where it ends and space begins is not decided.
The face is there and yet already fading away.
What remains is the presence, not the contour.
Sometimes someone is most clearly present when you can’t hold on to them.

About me:
"My painting moves at the boundary between figuration and abstraction—a tension-charged dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds, and intuitive dynamism.
Inspired by the energy of Abstract Expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines break through surfaces.
Figures appear and disappear again.
An emotionally charged dance between control and letting go."
Mila Veljac'a is a visual artist originally from Croatia. She trained at art academies in Croatia, Vienna, Salzburg and Stuttgart and spent several years sharing her expertise as a lecturer for visual arts.
