Mila Veljaca, roter Mantel, an original oil painting in contemporary style, 570 cm high by 30 cm wide, signed, depicting a day scene, from Austria, created in 2018 and sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
Red Cloak
70 x 30 cm
A body that does not reveal itself and yet stands there.
The reddish-brown carries it all. It drapes over the figure like something familiar, almost protective.
At the edges color breaks forth – turquoise, a bright sparkle. There, where the fabric tears, it comes alive.
Not the face tells the story here. The posture does.

About me:
"My painting moves at the border between figuration and abstraction — a tension-filled dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds and intuitive dynamics.
Inspired by the energy of Abstract Expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines break through surfaces.
Figures emerge and disappear again.
An emotionally charged dance between control and letting go."
Mila Veljac'a is a visual artist from Croatia. She pursued further studies at art academies in Croatia, Vienna, Salzburg and Stuttgart, and for several years shared her expertise as a lecturer in visual arts.
