πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition Curator, Music Critic…)
A versatile visual artist and transmitter of forms, πJS presents here a series of editions drawn from his painting work currently exhibited in the gallery. This series reinterprets the icons of Pop Art and contemporary Street Art, worked with the artist’s own codes. Discover these editions in advance before you can bid on the real acrylic-painted paintings that will go on sale in mid-July. Do not hesitate to also view the artist’s sculptural works (Les Robbit). A series of colorful sculptures, a playful homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, imbued with the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name derives. Made in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection features four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop boldness with playful sweetness: a sculptural presence that strikes with its chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to catch the eye and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
