Sculpture, Nubes de madera dorada - 220 cm - Wood

Clouds carved from pine wood and gilded with fine gold. These are two separate pieces that, when joined, form a large golden cloud.

The pieces were part of a Spanish altar from the eighteenth century.

As seen in the photos, the gilding on the clouds has worn in places due to their age. Even so, they are in acceptable condition.

Dimensions: 220 x 50 x 12 cm

These are two very old pieces with high decorative value.
