Italian artist Bruno Fael (1935–2015) presents an original 1969 abstract still life titled Astratto, created in airbrush and mixed media, measuring 30 by 50 cm, signed, sold with frame, origin Italy, period 1960–1970.
Description from the seller
The painting shown is the work of Bruno Fael (1935–2015). Although born in Sacile, the artist is historically and closely tied to Treviso, a city where he lived, worked for a long time and where, precisely in 1969, he inaugurated his famous first "studio-salotto".
In the bottom left of the image the signature "FAEL" is clearly visible. The style of the work reflects his late-1960s artistic transition toward the so-called "New Figurazione" (New Figuration), merging abstract geometric elements with suggestive subjects (in this case, the stylized silhouette of a vessel with masts).
The artwork in the image is an original painting (oil or acrylic/mixed media) tied to the Veneto and Friulian region.
On the back there is a stamp and a dedication that certify its authenticity 100%.
