"Nopal" belonging to the series "Después de la luz" (After the Light), a pictorial project that explores the transformation of the landscape and the figure through color, light, and the simplification of form; it features a composition organized by broad chromatic planes and a gestural brushstroke that synthesizes reality without losing its visual intensity. The presence of the figure, integrated into the landscape, establishes a dialogue with vegetation, architecture, and reflection, generating an image where every element participates in the construction of space.

Artist bio: O. Delgado is a Cuban-Spanish visual artist residing in Spain and a graduate in Visual Arts from the University of the Arts (ISA), Havana.
With more than 15 years of professional experience, he has developed a solid pictorial practice that spans different genres, including abstraction, portraiture, still life, and contemporary reinterpretation of nature-related themes and everyday experiences.
He has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Cuba and Spain, and his work is part of private collections in the United States and Spain, as well as institutional collections and foundations in Mexico and Spain.
His work is characterized by particular attention to color, atmosphere, and image construction, combining a rigorous technical foundation with a constant search for new plastic and expressive solutions.
