Description from the seller

Franck Noto aka Zest - Ali (2021)
Screen print on Arches 240 g/m² vellum
Color passes: 3, including 2 in gradient
Signed and numbered 05/50
Artistic work represented by a gallery

Franck Noto, better known by the pseudonym Zest, is a French artist born in Montpellier in 1980. Coming from a family with a sensitivity to painting, he discovers graffiti art and tagging in 1995, even before he was fifteen, and quickly gets hooked. Now a abstract painter, his style remains very urban.
Zest's work synthesizes his diverse influences. It is structured by key recurring elements throughout his body of work: bright fluorescent colors and the female body. The sensual curves of the latter contrast with the cubism of shapes and letters and disappear into a pictorial labyrinth where suggestion prevails over representation.
Zest revisits the classic codes of graffiti, breaking free from conventions and pre-established rules. He blends styles and techniques, using both brushes and spray cans, markers and rollers.
With his team TDM, he is behind color-rich murals in the main European capitals, but also in New York and Nouméa.
