Limoges Porcelain Old Ensemble – 3 Perfume Flasks and Matching Covered Box – Golden Floral Decoration
Very beautiful antique Limoges porcelain set, consisting of three perfume flasks with their stoppers and a matching covered box.
The set features a refined floral decoration in shades of pink, mauve, black and gold on a white/cream background. The pieces are accented with extensive gilding: gold fillets, foliate motifs, decorative friezes, and finishes on the stoppers, necks, bases, and the lid of the box.
The decoration is delicate and very harmonious, in an elegant spirit of an antique dresser, boudoir, vanity or romantic Belle Époque / early 20th century style decoration.
The three flasks have an elegant octagonal shape, with matching stoppers. The heights are progressive, which gives a great visual balance to the set. The covered box repeats the same floral and gilded decoration, with a domed lid topped by a decorative button.
The mark on the base reads “Limoges France.” The set can be approximately dated to the early 20th century, around 1900–1920.
