The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before returning them individually to our collectors without any constraint. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

If the work is damaged, you must refuse delivery and note the reason for refusal on the delivery slip, specifying issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “bent.” If only the packaging is damaged but the content is intact, you may accept the package. However, if both packaging and content are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained prominence in 2009 with his sculptures One Dollar, ranking among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice that year. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture, One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, encouraged by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He later turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

2026: – Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters tall, 7 tons. The largest One Dollar sculpture in the world created by the artist.

2025: – Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Placed near the new Pavillon des Bains on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: – Art Miami – Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a 1.80 m bronze cryptogram and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies and a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: – Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
– Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St Regis edition of One Dollar.

2022: – New York: Times Square NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”

2017: – Karl Lagasse succeeds prestigious Cartier in creating the trophies for the Deauville American Film Festival.

2016: – Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-high, fully bronze “One Dollar” was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First time in Spain at Atrium Gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the city mayor, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: – Second collaboration with Maserati, creating a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work features a Maserati covered with a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several dollar-bill sculptures lie on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt.

2014: – Maserati worldwide premiere of the Maserati Ghibli redesigned by Karl Lagasse to celebrate the brand’s 100th anniversary.

2012: – Karl donated to the city of Deauville a bronze cryptogram One sculpture, permanently at the city entrance.
– For the 65th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a collage of photos tracing the festival’s key moments.
