Description from the seller
Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life is rooted in artisanal mastery. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small town among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chrome plating.
The turning point of his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time transform into an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his know-how as a craftsman into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to your most authentic talent.
Title - Bat Level

Dimensions: 43x35x17
Condition: new.
Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed.
Edition: metal gun and gold 100ex.

In recent years his work has earned important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these stand out presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, collaboration with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From craftsman to signature of the Neo-Pop landscape, Sagrasse proves how a lifetime of experience can be transformed into pure and recognized artistic expression.
Sagrasse is not merely an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has liberated the technique from its functional constraints, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society reflects: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.
Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly within the track of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the comparison to Banksy is evident due to the strong satirical charge, the irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski
The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handmade work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural hallmark of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean only with a soft cloth, not with detergents.
