Glen Deveron 1987 5 Year Old - Macduff - a 1987 vintage Glen Deveron, the name given to official bottlings from Macduff distillery. This was bottled at 5 years of age in the early 1990s.

A wonderful gift for next year for a whisky lover born in 1987 or 1992 (turning 40 or 35, respectively) !!

A good summer whisky with no off-notes. But don't expect any taste miracles, either.
Nose: preserved pear, sweetness, some oak.
Palate: pear in chocolate, perhaps grapes; starts with a slight tingle.
Finish: fairly short, fruity again, and slightly sparkling.
