Medsan Warhol Dunk Low (アンディ・ウォーホルのダンク), a 40 × 40 cm giclée on a wood-mounted panel, with a unique 1/1 edition signed by hand, created in 2026 and depicting Pop Art culture inspired by Andy Warhol.
Description from the seller
ONLY ONE LEFT IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1
With this square-format work, Medsan pays a brilliant homage to Andy Warhol by applying to the Nike Dunk Low the principle of repeated, colorful screen printing—the absolute signature of the Pop Art master. The cult sneaker is rendered in four panels with saturated backgrounds — pink, blue, green and orange — each displaying a different colorway, in the manner of Warhol's famous serial portraits of Marilyn or the Campbell's soup can. This unique print bears the signature “メドサン” (Medsan) in a cartouche.
The visual power of the composition lies in its purely Pop language: flat blocks of bright color, retro printing texture, and clean outlines, which transform the consumer object into a cultural icon. The repetition of the motif, characteristic of Warhol, celebrates reproducibility and mass culture, while the skate sneaker attains the status of a work of art.
The impact of the piece stems from this lineage: Warhol elevated everyday objects to subjects worthy of museums; Medsan applies the same logic to the sneaker, a totem of contemporary urban culture. A vibrant celebration of consumption, collecting, and desire.
A vibrant, graphic, and highly decorative piece, ideal for adding a pop, colorful, and distinctly urban touch to a design and collector’s interior.

About the Studio:
Atelier Joconde is a studio of artists gathered around a living and plural contemporary creation. Established as a true production space for art, the studio operates both as collective creation and through individual approaches, depending on projects and works. Atelier Joconde is also a family venture. Le Yack, a contemporary figurative painter, develops a narrative and introspective body of work with cinematic and realist influences. At his side, Medsan, oriented toward Pop Art painting, explores color, modern iconography, and visual culture. Finally, Neo Pablo is engaged in a more instinctive search, mixing abstract art, brut art, and figurative abstraction. Each work is conceived, created, and followed within the studio, with a shared artistic standard and an identity of its own for each artist.
