With this square-format work, Medsan brilliantly distorts Salvador Dalí's universe by transforming the Nike Air Max 97 into a melting watch. Placed on a cracked earth block in the heart of an endless desert, the chrome sneaker liquefies and slowly flows, just like the famous melting watches in The Persistence of Memory. A few ants — Dalí's obsessive motif, a symbol of decomposition — climb the sole. This singular splash bears the signature "メドサン" (Medsan) in a cartouche.

The visual strength of the composition lies in its hyperreal oil treatment: carefully modeled metallic reflections, a cracked floor, and a hazy desert horizon, in the purest tradition of surrealist painting.
