The image
represents the transition of the artwork from the exterior wall to the interior space of buildings. What is born on the street, in the urban and public context, is transferred inside buildings, houses, or museums, completely changing the environment and meaning. In this case, the most interesting street corner is selected and cut out—the spot where the street artist had carried out the outdoor intervention. The fragment is then detached from the original street context and transformed into an autonomous object. Once cut, this piece of wall can be transported and placed indoors: in homes, buildings, museums, or other structures. In this way the work changes environment and function, moving from the public, everyday space of the street to a private or institutional space, where it is preserved and exhibited as a true artistic object. All of this represents a kind of imagined reconstruction by the artist, reflecting on the process of moving the work from the urban context to the domestic or museum one.

The natural imperfections, marks, and dents of the materials are not defects but integral parts of the work: they testify to its urban life and reinforce its identity as authentic Street Art.
