Rodolfo Guzzoni, le cose non dette 336, 2026, acrylic painting in hyperrealism, 80 cm high by 60 cm wide, original edition, sold with frame directly from the artist, Italy.
Description from the seller
“The things left unsaid” says Guzzoni, referring to his cards. They don’t “say” only the words, but also the forms, the bodies and the actions: it’s just another language. The set of his works depicting pieces of paper represents a kind of alphabet, an imaginary ABC, and for this reason immortalized without being subject to gravity, but as if suspended to present themselves to the viewer.
Guzzoni’s sheets of paper come into relation with the viewer and are not the tale of someone else written with ink.
They, the pieces of paper, express themselves as shapes even without containing words.
They present themselves before us and stand apart by their individuality.
They do not let anyone walk away without first stimulating their imagination.”
*all works are created starting from a blank canvas with no digital support*
The works of Rodolfo Guzzoni, a graduate of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, are present in private collections worldwide.
