Description from the seller

Recommended title (maximum 80 characters): Stunning Belle Époque cufflinks in 18K yellow gold and natural mother-of-pearl – 1900/1915

Description
Splendid pair of original Belle Époque cufflinks (approx. 1900-1915), crafted in 18K yellow gold with natural mother-of-pearl inserts.
These elegant masculine cufflinks represent an excellent example of refined men’s jewelry from the early twentieth century. Entirely handmade in 18K gold, they feature refined mother-of-pearl discs framed by an elegant beaded border in a laurel wreath motif, a classic symbol of prestige and distinction.
The mother-of-pearl shows its characteristic natural iridescence with fascinating color variations: one light disc and three with darker, coppery tones, a detail that underscores authenticity and the period craftsmanship.
Original mechanism perfectly functional with a rigid bridge and a folding hook, a hallmark of high Belle Époque jewelry and increasingly rare to find in original condition.
Conditions: Excellent state of preservation. Sharp, well-defined engravings; mother-of-pearl in excellent condition with vivid iridescence. Closure fully functional. Small traces of use consistent with an age of over 110 years.
Ideal for both antique jewelry collectors and anyone wishing to wear a historic accessory of great elegance and quality.
Authenticity: Professionally tested 18-carat gold. Absence of visible hallmarks, common in many pieces of the era.
