Raynaud & Co. Limoges – Reicher Drache (“Rich Dragon”) – Set of 4 porcelain dinner plates – Ø 25 cm – France – ca. 1980s

Description

A refined set of four Limoges porcelain dinner plates by Raynaud & Co. Limoges, decorated with the celebrated “Reicher Drache” (Rich Dragon) pattern inspired by the historic Meissen design.

The plates feature elegant brown and gold dragon motifs with a pair of phoenixes in the center, enhanced by a fine hand-applied gold rim. This decor reflects the long European tradition of interpreting East Asian porcelain motifs and was produced by Raynaud on high-quality Limoges porcelain.

Each plate bears the original underglaze Raynaud & Co. Limoges swan mark together with the green Limoges France mark, confirming authentic French manufacture.
