This Black Hole fits into Bruno Bani's research on the relationship between light, matter and perceptual depth. The work arises from the layering of three levels: a 40×40 canvas hosts a 30×30 disk sprayed in gold, on which a second circular canvas of 25×25, completely white, is placed. Between the two circles emerges a luminous ring generated by the integrated white LED, which defines the boundary of the “vortex” and transforms the work into a mobile and dynamic painter-sculptural form.
Light becomes part of the structural composition: it accentuates the edge of the gold disk, produces color vibrations that vary with the environment, and activates a constant dialogue between surface and surrounding space.
