Original vertical composition with naif and expressive character, built through simple, colorful, and highly decorative iconography.
The scene combines a flower pot with a climbing plant, a large watermelon slice, and a lizard ascending the central stem. The upper blue background contrasts with the warm white of the lower area, reinforcing the graphic reading of the shapes.
1. COMPOSITION AND ICONOGRAPHY
The work is organized into two clearly differentiated registers. In the upper part appears a pot in earthy tones, covered by cut leaves and a watermelon slice in a vivid red.
In the lower part, the lizard introduces a narrative and playful note. Its ascent along the plant visually unites both zones of the composition and adds movement to the whole.
The motif combines nature, fruit, and animal in a scene that looks spontaneous, almost childish, but built with a clear decorative intention.
2. TECHNIQUE AND CONTEMPORARY LANGUAGE
The painting combines bold black outlines, flat color, applied texture, and visible collage elements on the leaves of the plant.
Curved lines and spirals provide rhythm to the composition, while the contrast between blue, red, green, and white creates a direct image with strong visual presence.
The result relates to contemporary figuration with naif sensitivity, where drawing, texture, and color prevail over realistic representation.
3. CONDITION
The work shows signs of use and age coherent with its technique: small surface irregularities, scuffs, minor losses, and occasional wear visible especially in the light background and some areas of the collage.
These elements do not impede a proper reading of the composition nor affect its strong decorative impact.
It is recommended to carefully review all photographs, which are an essential part of the description.
4. SHIPMENT
The work is delivered unframed and will be professionally packaged to measure, with reinforced protection, a double box, and insured shipping.
International shipping is carried out from a specialized logistics center. Preparation and dispatch are typically completed within approximately three business days after payment confirmation.
Any possible shipping surcharges for destinations with higher rates within the European Union, insular territories, remote zones, or non-EU countries must be borne by the buyer.
