Vintage silver unisex lariat necklace in antique style, weighing 19.83 g, made in Ireland, with a round sliding clasp and textured popcorn chain.
Description from the seller
A vintage silver lariat necklace with a unique sliding clasp. Design Features: Construction and Shape: This is a classic Y-shaped necklace (called a lariat). Instead of a traditional static front clasp, a round decorative ring holds the two ends of the chain together. Weave Type: The main body of the necklace is made of textured chain (often called "popcorn" or "caviar"), while the dangling ends transition smoothly into a flexible, smooth weave reminiscent of a snake chain or foxtail. The ends are adorned with smooth silver end caps in the form of drops or beads. Material and Finish: Judging by the distinctive deep color and patina in the recesses of the decorative element, this piece is crafted from 925 sterling silver using a blackening (oxidation) technique. This design, with its pronounced grainy texture, is typical of jewelry by Italian artisans (such as the Milor brand) or the iconic Caviar style of the Lagos brand.
