Holy water font - 1930-1940

Old bedside holy water stoup / wall-stoup in glazed ceramic of folk-art style, dating from the mid-20th century (1930s–1960s).
It features a raised relief design of a radiant cross. Magnificent work of glazed decoration that is flame-flaked and speckled, offering rich shades of green, brown, and ochre. Robust artisanal production, the back in coarse light terracotta with demolding striations (no visible signature).
