This work in the format 80 × 80 × 4.5 cm is created on a wide, high-quality canvas and moves between painting and sculpture.
In the light, the surface develops a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and viewing angle, texture and depth change, individual layers stand out more. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises while walking, standing, and lingering.
The Window PURPLE ORANGE — Sculpture of light, structure & presence
The Window PURPLE ORANGE is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist, I translate rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held notes, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
Work details:
Title: The Window PURPLE ORANGE
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & materials: Acrylic paint and Heavy-Gel texturing paste on canvas, built up in layers with various scrapers. The pigments form elevations and overlays with a calm, pulsating tension.
Only the highest quality materials are used: Acrylic paints from Amsterdam Expert, texture pastes from Liquitex – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide supporting frame made of solid natural wood (included in price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were photographed under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placement under direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color play and make the works come alive.

Signature & authenticity: Hand-signed on the back. Delivery with signed certificate of authenticity.
