BADFACE's The Son of Apple is a 2026 resin sculpture, edition 3/25 from Spain, 230 x 280 x 60 mm, hand-signed, titled The Son of Apple and created from resin material, featuring a Lego-like figure inspired by Magritte, presented with a black wooden box and accompanying certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
I present to you an exceptional piece, brimming with conceptual ingenuity, that pays tribute to one of the great surrealist icons, The Son of Man by René Magritte, fusing it with contemporary culture and the identity of Apple.
This time, the iconic figure is materialized through a legendary LEGO character made of resin and hand-painted. The figure wears the classic gray suit with a red tie and a bowler hat, while its face is subtly concealed by the emblematic bitten green apple, creating a fantastic visual play on a background that recreates the cloudy sky and the wall from the original work.
This is a strictly limited and numbered edition of only 25 copies worldwide, making each piece a unique investment opportunity for collectors.
The work is elegantly framed in a black wooden box that highlights the depth of the relief and the three-dimensional volume of the sculpture, ready to hang and transform any space.
The piece comes with its accompanying certificate of authenticity signed and numbered, guaranteeing its exclusivity. Shipping will be handled immediately via professional courier with a tracking number so you can monitor the journey from the studio to your home.
To ensure the artwork arrives in perfect condition and to prevent accidental damage, shipping is done without the final glass. As a special courtesy to the collector, we add at no cost a protective sheet of acrylic to safeguard the piece during transit. Being a courtesy item without commercial value, any damage, scratch, or breakage affecting this provisional sheet during transport will not entitle the purchaser to claim, refund, or replacement. Once the piece is received, the owner may keep this cover or replace it with the material of their choice.
Best of luck to everyone at the auction—you’re taking home a piece with incredible visual impact and absolute exclusivity.
