Title: Sugar sick
Dimensions: 65 x 65 cm
Year: 2026
Vera Kora is a contemporary artist who explores the body as a territory of transformation and unstable identity.
Her research focuses on the relationship between beauty, matter and alteration, through female figures, anatomical elements and organic symbols that evoke processes of mutation and rebirth.
Her works, characterized by intense color harmonies and surfaces that seem to melt or regenerate, build images suspended between attraction and unease, where the skin becomes a threshold and form a passage.
Vera Kora's work sits in a contemporary visual dimension that blends surrealist sensibilities, anatomical references, and pop sensibility, creating a recognizable and strongly identitary language.
Note: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for dispatch. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
