French ceramic sculptural pitcher Form Méplat attributed to Tim Orr, dating from the 1960s to 1970s, height 26 cm, width 22 cm, depth 12.5 cm, in good used condition with small signs of aging and its original stopper.

Superb flat-form pitcher in mid-century sculptural art pottery by the French artist Tim Orr; erased signature, though you can still discern some numbers, but entirely recognizable by its shapes, catalogue, or even examples found on the net (see photos)

Provenance: Auction house "LA ROCHELLE"
TIM ORR, born in England, sculptor, painter and ceramicist. He settled in Biot, France, in 1960 and lived with Jacqueline (1933-1989). They were among the first to work porcelain at an artistic level, and they produced several major works such as a series of four large sculptures for the Lapeyronie Hospital in Montpellier. They decided to leave the Côte d’Azur for the Hérault and settled in Brissac.
