Description from the seller
"Salitre"
The raw beauty of Imperfection!
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
Support: cotton canvas, 370g/m2 (without stretcher and without frame)
Dimensions and Margins: The canvas has an overall size of 168x140 cm, with a centrally painted area of 158x130 cm. This means it features a technical white safety margin of about 5 cm at each end.
As the canvas is supplied without a frame and rolled on a cardboard tube, it will require planning for proper mounting and display.
Condition: excellent, original and unique hand-painted work.
The marks and splatters visible on the margins are entirely a result of the artistic process in the studio.
Signed by the artist on the back, allowing full freedom for the viewer to display the work in vertical or horizontal orientation, as desired, and accompanied by the certificate of authenticity.
Colors, in this case, undergo considerable changes depending on the incidence of light. Please observe carefully the details in the photos.
Shipping and Packaging Information:
To ensure maximum protection of this large-format piece, the work will be shipped without a frame or stretcher.
The canvas will be carefully rolled and protected inside a rigid cardboard tube, which will be placed inside a reinforced cardboard box for maximum strength and safety during transport.
Shipped with a tracking code via CTT EXPRESSO / PORTUGAL CTT.
*About the artist*
My art is a silent manifesto about the beauty of being real, sculpted through a deep sensitivity and a creativity that does not accept rigid molds.
My work arises from pure intuition and an honest dialogue with matter, where organic textures and free forms translate a vulnerability that is, in fact, my greatest strength.
Moving away from cold symmetry and the obsession with industrial aesthetics, I choose to focus on the essence of manual making, allowing each piece to carry the pulsation of my own feeling.
In this creative universe of mine, PERFECT IMPERFECTION and the BEAUTY of ERROR cease to be faults and become the soul of the work itself. Inspired by the acceptance of impermanence, I do not hide the deviations along the way; on the contrary, I celebrate chance as a generous co-author.
Each groove, asymmetry, or unfinished mark acts as a poetic scar that tells a unique story, turning error into a turning point and pure artistic liberation.
I invite those who view my creations to slow down and contemplate the value of authenticity, discovering that true beauty does not reside in the absence of defects, but in the courage to expose our wonderful and human fragility.
This abstract work in white and blue tones is perfect for creating calm environments.
The mastery of these tones evokes duality and depth, making it ideal for:
- Art Galleries
- Hallways or Staircase Landings
- Living Rooms: as a decorative focal point
- Offices or Clinics: to promote calm
- Entrance Halls: creating an elegant visual impact
- Premium hospitality spaces
- Hotel lounges and corridors
- Collector residences
