Abstract and neo-expressionist work in which the artist presents a canvas with a vibrant and dynamic image. Through the composition, he shows a great interest in the qualities that materials can offer and in their textures. A representation in which the use of refined strokes and a great intensity in the colors used create a pictorial atmosphere that seduces the viewer and creates an emotionally engaging narrative.
The artist:
Self-taught artist, David Brush began in the art world inspired by his daughter. His works are heavily influenced by artists such as Jackson Pollock (1912-1956), Karel Appel (1921-2006) and Willem de Kooning (1904-1997). His first solo exhibition, “Feria de Colores,” took place in April 2018 in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid. That same year, he received the Premio Revelación from Grupo Pro Arte y Cultura,
