Carolina Livio, 'Rio waves', an acrylic painting on canvas (100 x 200 cm), limited edition, created in 1990, hand-signed, from Italy, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
“Rio waves” is an XXL work of 100x200 cm, hand-painted with acrylic and lime on canvas. It is a soft sequence of tactile and precise waves, alternating with warm and cool colors that create its dynamism. The movement and chromatic feeling signal to the author the Carioca colors of earth that blends with the ocean. Ideal for adding warmth and personality to an interior, both public and private.
Carolina Livio, illustrator and cartoonist, was born in Cantù on August 9, 1990. After completing her academic studies at the Scuola del Fumetto in Milan, she dedicates heart and soul to her greatest passion, drawing. Her field experience began in 2012, thanks to the collaboration with Mondadori, where Carolina lends her hand to the creation of the Geronimo Stilton book lines, in particular the Stories to Laugh, The Great Classics and the Tea Sisters. Thus began, in Milan, her career as a cartoonist and illustrator, which later developed through collaborations with Disney, working on classic characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald Duck and Daisy, to continue with various types of different projects, from graphic studios to communication projects, from collaborations with small and large companies (for which she develops and creates graphic concepts, from the catalog to the trade fair stand).
After several years in the Milan area, in 2018 Carolina moved to the Vicenza area and combined her graphic and artistic skills with those of designer Mauro Zolin, giving life to the Coltivi IDEA project, a 360-degree design studio (coltivi.it).
Simultaneously with her work as an illustrator, Carolina creates acrylic works on canvas, especially enjoying large-scale paintings. The works are commissioned or inspired by the moment’s inspiration and need.
