Folio edition, 24 pages, plates and an old map

The first edition of the work appeared, in Florence, in 1810, in four volumes accompanied by a richly illustrated atlas of plates. The atlas offered a geographical map of the peninsula (Italia antiqua com insules de d’Anville) and 60 plates describing monuments very well known such as the walls of Volterra or Todi, but also about twenty plates concerning monuments that had never before been described or published.
