The work series “TRACE” celebrates the beauty of imperfection in the spirit of Wabi-Sabi and combines graphic precision with intuitive freedom. On unprimed, raw cotton, the brushstrokes leave their marks—deliberately not perfectly straight, with frayed edges and without precise edges. You can see and feel the natural fiber and the weave of the fabric, which gives the works an honest, organic materiality. From this interplay of reduced, monochrome clarity and movement arises a harmonious balance of order and dynamism. The images manage to radiate deep visual calm while simultaneously bringing a subtle, atmospheric tension into the room. Graphically, minimalist and profound at once: a perfectly imperfect statement that fits ideally into contemporary, elegant and minimalist interiors.
