Description from the seller
In the past there was a word that finds no perfect translation in modern languages: pothos.
It signified the longing for something that is not present. Not necessarily a person. It could be a distant house, a place never visited, a memory or an uncharted possibility.
Unlike love or passion, pothos did not arise from possession: it arose from distance.
For this reason the ancients considered it one of the most powerful and enduring feelings.
Perhaps Mediterranean longing concerns not only what lies before our eyes.
Perhaps it concerns what continues to attract our attention even when we cannot reach it.
- Originality: Each artwork is an original piece, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
- Condition: The artwork is professionally mounted on a wooden frame and is ready to hang, without the need for further intervention or processing.
- Protection: Careful packaging with professional materials to guarantee maximum protection during transport.
- Shipping: Fast shipping. For shipments outside the European Union, delivery times may vary depending on local customs procedures.
Some images may present the artwork placed in illustrative settings, to facilitate visualization in different contexts or with different framing solutions. The proportions are consistent with the artwork’s real dimensions.
