Description from the seller
INTERIOR FLORAL SCENE
"Interior Floral Scene" offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the floral still life, where the bouquet ceases to be a simple decorative element and becomes the emotional axis of the composition. Against an intense background of reds and magentas, the flowers emerge through transparencies, glazes, graphics, and painterly gestures that build a vibrant and deep atmosphere. The vase, reduced to an essential structure of clean lines, provides stability and balance against the organic freedom of leaves, petals, and spots of color.
In this work I explore the dialogue between nature and memory, using color as a vehicle of emotion and presence. The successive layers of paint allow each element to appear and disappear partially, generating different levels of reading and a sense of accumulated time. The white flowers act as points of light that traverse the composition, bringing serenity and counterpoint to the chromatic intensity of the whole.
My interest is not to represent a bouquet of flowers literally, but to build an interior landscape where abstraction and figuration coexist naturally. Each brushstroke, transparency, and overlay seeks to invite the viewer to a slow contemplation, discovering new details with each glance. "Interior Floral Scene" is a work with a strong visual presence, conceived for contemporary spaces and aimed at collectors who value gestural painting, material richness, and the expressive power of color.
About R.Robin
Robinson Rodríguez García is a visual artist, theater designer, and drawing professor, born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, and based in Spain. He graduated in 2003 from the Provincial Academy of Fine Arts, developing an artistic practice centered on painting and contemporary language, where abstraction, geometry, and a strong symbolic charge converge. Between 2003 and 2005 he taught drawing workshops at the Manuel Ascunce Domenech School of Art Instructors, and between 2006 and 2009 he served as a costume and set designer for the Provincial Council of Performing Arts of Santa Clara, experience that decisively influenced his spatial and formal conception within the visual arts.

He has also participated in important group exhibitions and international fairs, including Art Basel Miami, group exhibitions in France, and contemporary art events in the Americas and Europe.
