Silence(XL) presents an emotionally suspended landscape between calm and unease. The half-submerged cabin, isolated in a setting of intense reds and open skies, functions as a symbol of refuge and abandonment at the same time. The contrast between the word “Silence” floating over the scene and the red light of the “EXIT” introduces a silent tension: the need to escape versus the impossibility of breaking the inner mutism.
The work blends an almost dreamlike atmosphere with a strong expressive charge, where liquid textures and drips suggest memory, wear, and time. Silence here is not absence, but a space for contemplation, uncertainty, and emotional resilience.

Training and Specialization
Visual artist, educator, and curator, graduate of the Professional Academy of Plastic Arts "Leopoldo Romañach" (Cuba, 2008). With multidisciplinary training, he stands out as a painter, draftsman, and designer, in addition to having advanced studies in curatorship.

Career and Recognitions
With more than 15 years of career, he has a record of over 60 group exhibitions and 8 solo exhibitions. His work has been awarded on numerous occasions at prestigious competitions, highlighted by:
Awards at the Salón "Marinas" and the Photography Salon "Martínez Otero-Illa" (multiple editions between 2006 and 2021).
Award at the XXVIII Erotic Art Salon (Havana, 2022).
Mention at the XIV Photography Biennial (Artemisa, 2020).

Recently, he has expanded his career in Spain, receiving recognitions in the field of rapid painting in Lugo (2025), including the IV Prize at the Rábade Contest and the Local Artist Award.
