At the request of De Carbolineum Pers, Marnix Peeters wrote Der Pottwal in 2016. It is the author's first bibliophile edition and also the first book he illustrated by hand.
The text is entirely handset in Horley Old Style and printed with a hand press on handmade Zerkall paper. The illustrations are also printed on the hand press.

Der Pottwal is the tragic love story of two lesbians and their doomed relationship. The story takes place in Regensburg, Germany. Contrary to what the title might suggest, the book is in Dutch.

The edition of Der Pottwal consists of 50 numbered and signed copies, of which 1 to 40 are sewn and glued into a red cover. This is number 20, signed by the author and housed in a slipcase.

As good as new

Op verzoek van De Carbolineum Pers schreef Marnix Peeters in 2016 Der Pottwal. Het is de eerste bibliofiele uitgave van de auteur en ook het eerste boek dat hij eigenhandig illustreerde.
De tekst is volledig met de hand gezet in Horley Old Style en met de handpers gedrukt op geschept Zerkall papier. De illustraties zijn eveneens op de handpers afgedrukt.

Der Pottwal is het tragische liefdesverhaal van twee lesbiennes en hun gedoemde relatie. Het verhaal speelt zich af in het Duitse Regensburg. In tegenstelling tot wat de titel doet vermoeden is het boek in het Nederlands. 

De oplage van Der Pottwal bestaat uit 50 genummerde en gesigneerde exemplaren, waarvan 1 tot 40 genaaid en gelijmd in een rood omslag. Dit is nummer 20, gesigneerd door de auteur en gestoken in schuifdoos.
