Description from the seller
A tribal silver necklace constructed from interlocking chain links with lapis lazuli ball bead accents and swinging silver bell appliques. The necklace weighs 73 g and measures 32 cm in length; the pendant section stands approximately 3.5 cm in height. Silver content has been confirmed by acid test; no assay hallmarks, purity marks, or maker's marks are present. The geographic origin is unidentified, though the interlocking chain construction, bell pendant motifs, and use of lapis lazuli are stylistic elements consistent with Middle Eastern or Central Asian tribal silversmithing traditions of the 20th century. Condition is Good: some of the bell appliques show damage in the form of minor losses or bends; all affected bells are documented in the photographs, which form part of the condition record. The necklace is sold without a clasp extender. No other repairs or restorations are apparent.
