Historical News about the Brand
The service bears on the bottom the original mark with the intertwined initials "S&C" topped by a crown and the inscription "Bavaria - Germany". This punch marks identifies the historic manufacture Oscar Schaller & Co. Nachfolger, founded in 1882 at Schwarzenbach on the Saale, Bavaria. Noted for the very high quality of its hard porcelain and for the durability of its decorations, the company became part of the famous Winterling group in 1917, continuing to produce pieces of great value. This specific mark and the design of the decor place the production of the service in the mid-20th century (around the 1950s/60s), during the German modern design boom.

Condition
Excellent. The service presents in excellent vintage condition and has been kept with extreme care. No chips, hairlines, cracks or restorations detected. The porcelain retains its original luster and the gold decoration is exceptionally preserved along the edges, showing only very slight and negligible signs of time due to sporadic formal use.

Shipping and Packaging
Shipping will be carried out via internationally trackable courier. Given the delicacy, value and high number of pieces, the service will be divided and shipped in several separate packages inside sturdy reinforced boxes.
