​Splendid and very rare game case "Gran Lusso" from the renowned Teodomiro Dal Negro manufactory (Treviso), dating from 1964.
​This case, a precious family keepsake of absolute value, represents the utmost expression of Italian craftsmanship in gaming of the era. The cabinet retains extraordinary luster over time and is made of precious black lacquered rosewood, with no scratches or dents.
The top is adorned with a splendid lacquered reproduction of the famous Vincent van Gogh masterpiece, "La Moisson" (The Harvest). The drawing vividly captures the Provençal countryside of Arles, with golden grain bundles in the foreground, workers at work, the cart, and the details of the Crau plain in the background beneath a clear sky, giving the object a timeless artistic elegance.
The set is exceptionally complete and comes in its original period protective cardboard box with label “Astuccio Legno Gran Lusso - T. Dal Negro - Treviso”.

Detailed features of the contents:
Internal Structure in Precious Wood: The inside of the lid and the compartments are made of precious rosewood characterized by a natural flame-like grain with exceptional brightness and depth under the original lacquer.
Period Card Decks (1964) – Still Celophane-Wrapped: Two iconic decks from the Biscaretti Collection (depicted with trains and historic locomotives). As perfectly described by the era’s manufacturer, these are the famous “thick packs” that Dal Negro used in those years, a highly sought-after feature by collectors for the sturdiness and superior quality of the cardboard. Both decks are still sealed in their original cellophane and bear the Italian Republic 500 Lire tax stamp dated August 1964. Never opened or used.
Fiches Complete (Never Used): The fiche packs were opened only due to heat: if left sealed in the original plastic they would have risked losing color and getting damaged over the years. The fiches have NEVER been used and retain perfect original coloration.
Accessories: Includes an elegant red imitation leather card holder with a golden crest. The only small defect of the time is the dice, which have naturally faded in spots over the years.
A piece for high-end collectors, unobtainable in this condition of preservation and completeness, a safe investment for discerning collectors.
